The Vintage Flathead tone ring was Steve Huber's first achievement in the banjo world. He demonstrated that it was possible to achieve the same tone and response with a newly-manufactured ring that would be delivered with a pre war.

The success of this ring led to a dozen or more copycats, each in turn declaring their product to be a pre war replica ring, some charging as much as three times the Huber's cost.

But the original Huber ring continues to prove its worth, on stage and in the studio. It has powered banjos for top pros like Sammy Shelor, Jim Mills, Greg Cahill, Jason Burleson, Cia Cherryholmes and more.
