We use the same pre war alloy in the HR-30 as in our original ring. For the HR-30, however, we have replicated not only the alloy, but also the casting procedures utilized in making the very finest pre war tone rings.

This casting process is considerably more exacting and labor intensive, hence its higher cost. But our research has proven that controlling these many variables to this level of detail is what is required to craft a ring with these specific pre war characteristics.

When the Huber shop first opened, each ring was individually turned on a small lathe, and then drilled by hand on a press. They are now turned on a computer-assisted lathe, ensuring that the dimensions of each ring is 100% precise to spec. It also allows us to produce more than one ring spec with precision.

All Huber tone rings are plated in-house to ensure the same high standards as the other aspects of the rings' manufacture.
