The Roanoke combines a slightly more ornate peghead overlay with the rich color of walnut and the simplicity of a nickel plated banjo. The striking, highly-figured burl walnut resonator with its contrasting inlaid wood rings makes for an instrument that is as much a treat for the eyes as it is the ears.

Both the straight grain walnut neck and the resonator are stained with a natural walnut finish, with the neck bound in white/black/white. The neck is inlaid with the original Huber pattern.
