I wanted to make banjo rims for a long time and I finally convinced my friend Brian Sims to give it a try. Brian has been a cabinet maker for most of his life and knows wood. Long story short, (we started this venture over 8 months ago) he is building the best new 3 ply maple rim I have ever heard. So far I have about 15 of them in stock.
