Our most recent Huber Series model combines maple and nickel, based on regular customer requests, along with our newly designed inlay pattern.

The maple and gold Lexington banjo has been a favorite since its introduction, but many new Huber owners had asked about having an unengraved, nickel plated model instead. After building a good number like this as custom orders, it seemed like the right time to introduce a new model with those features, and The Berkshire was added to the line in the 2008 Huber Banjos catalog.

The neck and resonator and made from ornate, flamed maple with a rich burgundy finish. The fingerboard and headstock are inlaid with the new Huber hearts & petals pattern, reminiscent of classic pre war inlays. The neck and resonator are trimmed with a white/black/white binding.
