Manufactured for the pre-war banjo enthusiast, the Huber Vintage Flathead tone ring is a reproduction of the prized 20 hole tone flathead rings of the 1930's. The Vintage Flathead bronze alloy was perfected through 3 years of research and analysis of over 20 1930's rings. These rings are produced with both the look and the physical properties of the late 1930's rings.

The Vintage Flathead created a sensation in the banjo world whne they were introduced in 1998, with more than 4,000 installed as aftermarket modifications. These rings will produce deep, open, rich tones and brilliant response from the 1st to the 22nd fret. The superb decay that this ring provides suppresses unwanted overtones and result is excellent separation between notes.

Each new Huber banjo has one of these exceptional rings installed, and they are also available for retrofitting in existing banjos, and as archtop-to-flathead conversions.
